She tutored high school and middle school students in geometry, pre-algebra, algebra, and pre-calculus, achieving significant improvements in her students’ grades. This success led to private tutoring summer sessions, where, through word of mouth, parents sought her guidance to prepare their children for the upcoming school year and beyond. She subsequently became the head of the tutoring committee within the National Honor Society, expanding her role to match students with suitable tutors and provide guidance to other tutors while continuing to instruct various levels of math.
In her undergraduate program, Christina continued to grow her mathematical and analytical capabilities through her coursework and research. In her senior year, she became a teaching assistant for a career coaching course where she taught students how to tackle the internship search process. In her office hours, she worked with her students in a one-on-one setting to help further refine their resumes, cover letters, and interview answers. Her support helped numerous students secure prestigious internships at firms such as Deloitte, PwC, and Google.
Christina continued her education in her graduate studies at the University of Michigan, specializing in courses on machine learning, predictive modeling, and natural language processing. She completed an internship at the National Institutes of Health, where she worked with bioinformatics research data. She then transitioned into the tech industry, completing an internship as a business intelligence analyst at Adobe. She has now thrived in her role for over three years, leveraging her technical skills to drive strategic decision-making.
