Lois Heymann, M.A. CCC-SLP, is a Speech and Language Pathologist with over 30 years experience working with children with listening, hearing and learning challenges and their parents. Lois is the Director of the Shelley and Steven Einhorn Communications Center at the Center for Hearing and Communication in New York City.
Lois has developed an evaluation and intervention process for children with Auditory Processing Disorder / Auditory-Based Language Processing Deficits. She has written a book, The Sound of Hope: Recognizing, Coping with and Treating Your Child’s Auditory Processing Disorder. Lois has also developed apps for the iPad to help children increase their listening / language skills. The apps are sold through Pocket SLP.
