Claudia Sol Morgan is a Spanish and dance teacher in New York City. She teaches group lessons at AltSchool and Joel Salsa and also works as a private Spanish tutor. With over 8 years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels, Claudia is able to customize her lessons and help students succeed in the four communication competencies: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Claudia was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. She completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León and did her fellowship as a psychologist at the UANL Clinic in Mexico. During her bachelor’s program, Claudia Sol Morgan also started working as a dance teacher in different studios and schools in Mexico.
In 2009 Claudia was first invited to teach dance in the United States, she also started teaching and performing internationally since then. In 2012, she moved permanently to Milwaukee, WI. There, she discovered great enthusiasm for teaching her native language. She taught Spanish in the school system and as a private tutor, working with children, teenagers and adults. Claudia moved to New York in 2016. Since moving to the United States, Claudia has worked for different schools and tutoring programs such as: Futura Language Professionals, Tierra Educational Center, Spanish Blackbelt, and Casita de Arte.
Claudia Sol Morgan personally understands the challenges her students face in learning a second language, and aims to help them build not only language skills but confidence and a sense of achievement on the four communication competencies. Claudia is thrilled to work for My Learning Springboard and happy to be able to help her student meet their short, mid, and long term goals. When not teaching Spanish, Claudia can be found teaching and practicing dance of all kinds and also enjoying the art, food, and streets of New York City.
