
Liz Lasky, LCSW
Liz is a creative and inspiring leader in social work and specializes in bullying, cyberbullying, teen dating violence, and relationship abuse. Liz is a state certified clinical social worker and holds a Master’s degree in social work from Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work in New York City where she is also a doctoral candidate. Her dissertation topic is, “The Relationship between Social Cohesion, Self-Esteem, Bullying and Electronic Aggression.” Liz also works as a Relationship Abuse Prevention Coordinator for the Center Against Domestic Violence where she runs a middle school program in the South Bronx.
Liz is a seasoned presenter and has trained and lectured hundreds of school groups, professional groups, teachers and students, about bullying, cyberbullying, and healthy relationships. She is best known for helping adults, parents, teachers, and other professionals learn how to talk to children and adolescents about healthy relationships with friends, family, community, and one’s self. Liz has a private practice in which she provides individual counseling, group counseling, educational groups, coaching, and consulting services. She has a particular interest in training educators to address cyberbullying and technology issues. She has an office on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and offers consultation in the following areas:
