Whether you are transitioning to nursery programs, preschools, kindergartens, middle schools, high schools, colleges, graduate schools, or internships, My Learning Springboard works with students of all ages to help navigate the process. We focus on breaking down the process into manageable pieces and helping students and families to stay organized and motivated.
Since it’s always better to have options, we strongly advise starting the process well in advance with a strategic planning session. High school students are advised to begin the college planning process in 9th grade; Middle school transitions should begin in 4th grade; Kindergarten transitions should begin in the late 3s/4s.
We also help families relocating to the NYC metro area; Washington, DC metro area; Chicago metro area; and Boca Raton and Miami metro areas to find appropriate schools, professionals, and community resources.
We help families and students to:
- Choose and prepare for appropriate standardized tests
- Compile a list of appropriate schools, colleges, gap year programs and internship opportunities
- Complete applications
- Construct high school and college resumes
- Create portfolios
- Develop essays and personal statements
- Prepare for interviews
- Secure testing accommodations
- Strategically plan for the process and develop timelines

My Learning Springboard and Brad Hoffman are absolutely incredible!!
We were having behavior issues with our 4-year-old son at home and in school. We were very upset and frustrated and contacted Brad at MLS for help. We discussed what was going on and he immediately put together a realistic and achievable plan of action. First, he observed our son at school and recommended we find a different style of school ASAP as the current program was not a good fit for our son. He worked with us to highlight two goals per day so we were not overwhelmed and monitored our progress daily.
We researched schools together and once narrowed down, Brad then joined us to speak to the Directors at the schools. We now have our son in the RIGHT school with the RIGHT program for him and he is a changed kid! Happy and excited everyday to go to school!
We then moved on to behaviors we wanted to modify at home, one of which was getting him to bed earlier. Brad consulted with a child psychologist and colleague. Together, they came up with a manageable and simple rewards program in conjunction with a steady schedule and melatonin. This has made a tremendous change for good in our home. We are all getting more sleep and the house is much healthier and happier. Once this plan is completed we will move on with Brad and MLS to the next behavior and I am 100% sure that with his help and we will be 100% successful.
I would recommend MLS to any parent!!
Thank you Brad and MLS!
I want to thank you not only for the support you gave my son to help him present himself in the best possible light in this college process, but, in general, you and your team have been great to work with! Another big thank you to Elizabeth England for all her extra support, I know she’s busy with many students right now…
